What do you think I should do? Do I take offers for it? Do I ask you guys if you want to swap guitars? Do I offer this guitar as well as a few bucks for a similar/better guitar? I also don't want to get shafted and I want to at least get around what this guitar is worth in trade. I want something just as old or at least around that time period. I have kept this thing in a case for the entire duration of my owning it unless I was playing it and I have put in thousands of hours on this guitar. The guitar is in near-immaculate condition besides a single scratch I put on it myself when I added more springs and wound up dragging a screw-driver across the back of it when it slipped out of my lap.
I figured at that point that "Oh, well I need a Floyd Rose because my favorite guitarists use them so it must be better than a fixed bridge! DUHHHHH. I was 16 when I bought this guitar in '99 and I was still dumb as hell when it came to guitars back then. I have gotten so used to its warm and deep tones that I really hate to think of owning another guitar but this Floyd Rose is driving me up the wall.
